Ingredients

Indications

Limitations of Use

You should start to inject Adlyxin in the dose of 10 mcg (green pen) subcutaneously one time in the day an hour before the first meal for 2 weeks (14 days). After that, the patient should increase the dose to the maintenance dose (burgundy pen) of 20 mcg per day starting on the 15th day.
Important Administration Instructions
Healthcare provider should inform the patient about important instructions to follow before, during, and after the injection and teach him/her or caregivers how to perform the injection:
- Check the solution in the pen before you give an injection. It should be transparent and colorless;
- Any visible violation in the consistency or coloration signal the remedy is not safe to use;

- The injections should be performed once a day on a regular basis;
- Change the site of injection. Do not administer the remedy in one and the same area in series;

The possible side effects of Lixisenatide GLP 1 receptor agonist may include:
- Anaphylaxis;
- Acute pancreatitis;
- Abdominal pain;
- Constipation;
- Dyspepsia;
- Dizziness;
- Diarrhea;
- Headache;
- Vomiting;
- Nausea;
- Hypoglycemia (if coadministered with basal insulin).

Storage and Handling Conditions
